"Getting things done and finding equitable solutions are the foundation that I stand on. As a Mediator and Volunteer Deputy Voter Registrar my service to the public is ongoing. I want to work for you and with you. We all  need to work together to create more--because WE CAN DO MORE! I know there are a lot of issues that need addressing  and I am ready to do the work.  I see how our elected officials have neglected and overlooked a large portion of society, as your next elected HARRIS COUNTY COMMISIONER I will work with the Commissioners' Court to make sure county services are fully funded and infrastructure work takes place BEFORE the next natural disaster. I stand to make public safety and job creation - a top priority. With a passion for people and a life dedicated to public service, I am committed to the causes that affect all of our lives. PLATFORM

The County Commissioner for Precinct 4  participates in formulating county policy, setting the county budget, overseeing infrastructure and public services (roads, drainage, parks, community centers), and ensuring that precinct-level issues are addressed in county planning and resource allocation.

The County Commissioners' main duties are:

​

  • Policy & Budget – Vote on county policies, tax rates, and the annual budget as part of Commissioners Court.

  • Infrastructure Oversight – Direct road, bridge, and drainage maintenance and capital projects within the precinct.

  • Community Services – Manage parks, trails, community centers, and allocate funds for precinct programs.

  • Constituent Representation – Serve as the voice of Precinct 4 residents, address concerns, and hold public forums.

  • Partnerships & Coordination – Collaborate with city, state, and federal agencies, and with community groups, to advance local priorities.

  • Staff & Operations – Hire and oversee precinct staff to execute projects and provide services.
