I want to work for you and with you. We all need to work together to create more--because WE CAN DO MORE! I know there are a lot of issues that need addressing and I am ready to do the work. I see how our elected officials have neglected and overlooked a large portion of society, as your next elected HARRIS COUNTY COMMISIONER I will work with the Commissioners' Court to make sure county services are fully funded and infrastructure work takes place BEFORE the next natural disaster. I stand to make public safety and lowering property taxes - a top priority. PLATFORM
The County Commissioner for Precinct 4 participates in formulating county policy, setting the county budget, overseeing infrastructure and public services (roads, drainage, parks, community centers), and ensuring that precinct-level issues are addressed in county planning and resource allocation. Precinct 4 is home to over 1.2 million residents. and includes five cities, 55 parks, and 10 community centers.
The County Commissioners' main duties are:

Policy & Budget – Vote on county policies, tax rates, and the annual budget as part of Commissioners Court.

Infrastructure Oversight – Direct road, bridge, and drainage maintenance and capital projects within the precinct.

Community Services – Manage parks, trails, community centers, and allocate funds for precinct programs.

Constituent Representation – Serve as the voice of Precinct 4 residents, address concerns, and hold public forums.

Partnerships & Coordination – Collaborate with city, state, and federal agencies, and with community groups, to advance local priorities.

Staff & Operations – Hire and oversee precinct staff to execute projects and provide services.
My Priorities for Precinct 4
Fixing Our Justice System

Fully fund the District Attorney's office to clear jail backlogs and court dockets, ensuring everyone gets a swift, fair day in court.

Guarantee victims have full access to the Texas Attorney General's Crime Victims' Compensation Program.

Expand advocacy programs for victims of violent crime by establishing a local fund for mental health counseling to complement the state's compensation program.

Transfer the H.A.R.T program to Harris Center and expand their service to include crime victims and their families.
Investing in Harris County Infrastructure

Deliver the constant attention and maintenance our infrastructure demands. Enforce environmental laws and hold pollution offenders accountable.

Ensure federal tax dollars are utilized efficiently so public works projects finish on time and under budget. Supporting environmental justice for disadvantaged residents by including them when planning these projects.

Shift to a proactive, rather than reactive, approach ahead of the next major weather event.
Tackling the Housing & Eviction Crisis

Support rent-burdened families who shouldn't have to choose between housing and putting food on the table.

Advocate for a local fund to compensate landlords and offset unnecessary evictions.

Move larger JP Court eviction dockets toward mediation to find balanced solutions for tenants and owners.
